Over 45,000 West Papuan civilians became internally displaced people since armed conflict erupted again in 2018. Indonesian military operations which include burning villages and killing innocent people, has been relentless as you can read in the media reports, research articles, and social media reports.
Thousands of other internally displaced people are still living in remote areas and are mostly women and children. Recently 600 people died due to lack of food, water and shelter.
As occurred previously, thousands of West Papuans dispossessed of their land, are walking for weeks to seek refuge across the border in Papua New Guinea.
We are planning lifechanging projects to improve the situation. We seek your support to cover costs including our: 1. Humanitarian support; 2. Legal campaign; 3. Office & administration; and, 4. Diplomacy and networking.
